[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7955, March 29, 1995 ]

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TEN-BED DISTRICT HOSPITAL IN BARANGAY MARILOG, CITY OF DAVAO, TO BE KNOWN AS THE MARILOG DISTRICT HOSPITAL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There shall be established a ten-bed district hospital in Barangay Marilog, City of Davao, to be known as the Marilog District Hospital.

SEC. 2. The Department of Health, in consultation and coordination with the local government officials concerned, shall promulgate the rules and regulations necessary for the effective implementation of this Act.

SEC. 3. The amount necessary for the establishment of the hospital shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law; thereafter, funds necessary for its maintenance and operation shall be provided in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Code or the applicable law at the time.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on February 7, 1995 and February 2, 1995, respectively.
