Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 572 (s. 2004) which reserved a certain parcel of land in Barangay Apokon, Tagum City, Davao del Norte as permanent site of the BFAD, now Food and Drug Administration (FDA), by granting ownership thereof in favor of the Republic of the Philippines - Department of Health (Food and Drug Administration), subject to private rights and final ground survey, more particularly described as follows:

A parcel of land (Lot 595-D, Swo-11-000665 [equivalent to Lot 19195, Cad. 276] Tagum Cadastre) situated in Barangay Apokon, Tagum City, Davao del Norte, Island of Mindanao.

Bounded on the NE., along line 3-4 by Lot 595-C of the subdivision plan; on the SE., along line 4-1 byLot2695, Cad. 276, Tagum Cadastre; on the SW, along line 1-2 by Lot 595-C; on the NW., along line 2-3 byLot595-C, all of the subdivision plan.

Beginning from a point marked œ1? ofLot595-D, Swo-11-000665, being S. 65 deg. 18' E., 2,173.00 m. from BLLM No. 82, Cad. 276, Tagum Cadastre, thence:

Containing an area of THIRTY THOUSAND (30,000) SQUARE METERS, more or less. All points referred to are indicated on plan and are marked on the ground by G.S. cyl. conc. mons. 15 x 50 cms. Bearing True. Date of original survey on April, 1935 to July, 1940 which was executed by FNSP-J Chief of Party, Luisito A. Gacasan and was approved on October 10, 2003.

The Secretary of DENR is hereby authorized to issue the corresponding Special Patent in favor of the Republic of the Philippines- Department of Health (Food and Drug Administration).
