AN ACT TO EXTEND THE EFFECTS OF THE PROVISIONS OF ACT NUMBERED FORTY-ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SIX, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE LIMITATION, REGULATION, AND ALLOCATION OF SUGAR PRODUCED IN THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS, AND FOR THE PROCESSING AND MARKETING THEREOF,AND FOE OTHER PURPOSES," AS AMENDED.
Be it enacted by the National Assembly of the Philippines:
SECTION 1. Act Numbered Forty-one hundred and sixty-six, entitled "An Act to provide for die limitation, regulation, and allocation of sugar produced in the Philippine Islands, and for the processing and marketing thereof, and for other purposes,- as amended, shall continue in force for six crop three hundred and forty-one crop year, unless the President determines that the state of national emergency declared in said Act has temporarily or definitely ceased, in which case he shall so declare by proclamation, whereupon the effects of" said Act, as amended, shall thereby either be suspended temporarily or cease definitely.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
Enacted, without Executive approval, June 8, 1940.
