AN ACT SEPARATING THE DMLMHS-CAPITAN RAMON EXTENSION HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY CAPITAN RAMON, CITY OF SILAY, FROM THE DOÑA MONTSERRAT LOPEZ MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL, SILAY CITY, AND CONVERTING IT INTO AN INDEPENDENT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE BARANGAY CAPITAN RAMON NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The DMLMHS-Capitan Ramon Extension High School in Barangay Capitan Ramon, City of Silay, is hereby separated from the Doña Montserrat Lopez Memorial High School, Silay City, and converted into an independent national high school to be known as the Barangay Capitan Ramon National High School.
SEC. 2. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.
SEC. 3. All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the DMLMHS-Capitan Ramon Extension High School are hereby transferred to and absorbed by the Barangay Capitan Ramon National High School.
SEC. 4. The amount necessary for the implementation of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
Lapsed into law on April 22, 1995 without the President's signature, pursuant to Sec. 27(1), Article VI of the Constitution.
