[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8538, February 23, 1998 ]
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY POBLACION, MUNICIPALITY OF PANGANTUCAN, PROVINCE OF BUKIDNON, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. A public high school in Barangay Poblacion, Municipality of Pangantucan, Province of Bukidnon, shall be established under the direct supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports.
SEC. 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on December 2, 1996 and October 27, 1997, respectively.
