In compliance with the United Nations Security Council Resolution 883 (1993) providing for the imposition of sanctions against Libya, which prohibits among others, the entering into or renewal of arrangement for the provision of engineering or maintenance servicing of any aircraft or aircraft components within Libya, the processing of employment documents of Filipino aircraft maintenance-related skilled bound for Libya is hereby suspended starting 15 January 1994.
