Under GTEB Circular No. 002 dated 26 January 1989 , of the Supervised Transfer Scheme, Item No. 3 states "that the transferred quantity must be supported by the Confirmed POs or LCs within 30 days from the date the transfer is effected, otherwise, quantity shall be returned to the basket."

Inasmuch as these are EQ awards, the submission of the above requirement shall be waived. Similarly, under the Quota Swap Scheme, the requirement to support LC within 30 days from the date of Swap shall likewise be waived. However, all other conditions in the afore cited circulars remain unchanged.

This covers all approved 1989 Transfer/Swap Certificates.
