In pursuance of the President's directive prohibiting the deployment of domestic workers to Singapore, the following guidelines shall be observed:

1. The ban on the deployment of female domestic workers to Singapore shall cover:

1. new hires; and

2. workers returning either to new or the same employer and requiring a new or extended contract.

2. Female domestic workers on emergency leave or on mid-term vacation shall be allowed to leave.
