[ SRA SUGAR ORDER NO. 6, s. 1993-94, October 21, 1993 ]
EARLY WITHDRAWAL AND TRANSFER OF D SUGAR TO SUGAR BULK TERMINALS
WHEREAS, the quantity of 500,000 metric tons of CY 1993-94 D World Market sugar has been authorized for exportation to the world market, per SRA Sugar Order No. 5, dated October 21, 1993;
WHEREAS, considering the volume of said D sugar and the limited capacity of Philippine load port terminals, there is an urgent need to facilitate early and regular shipments of the D sugar;
NOW, THEREFORE, under and by virtue of the powers vested in the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA), it is hereby ordered that:
SECTION 1. To enable the early inloading of D sugar to sugar bulk terminals, the early withdrawal of said D sugar from mill warehouses is hereby allowed provided that the D Quedan-permit covering the same shall be surrounded to the mill company concerned and said withdrawal be covered by one Sugar Release order (SRO) for every hauler thereof.
The clearances necessary to withdraw/inload the sugar will be issued by the SRA.
SECTION 2. The withdrawal and transfer of the D sugar shall be coordinated and supervised by the bulk sugar terminal concerned which shall certify to the correctness of the quantity of D sugar received thereat.
SECTION 3. This Sugar Order shall take effect immediately.
SECTION 4. Provisions of sugar orders, circular letters, rules and regulations contrary to or inconsistent herewith are hereby revoked, amended or modified accordingly.
