In order to facilitate the implementation of the Barangay Livestock Breeding Program (BLBLP) which is an important component of the Department ™s Gintong Ani for Livestock, Item 1, Second  Paragraph of Memorandum Order No. 6 dated July 17, 1996 is hereby amended by raising the authority of Regional Directors to enter into negotiated contracts for the purchase of animals under the said program to Five Million Pesos (P5.0M).

This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.
