To strengthen the provision of other protective services for children/youth below thirty (30) years of age (NAPC defn.), The Provision of Other Protective Services/Interventions for Children and Youth under Department Order No. 10 series of 1999, Providing for Implementing Guidelines and Institutional Arrangements of the DSWD "Lingap Para Sa Mahihirap Program Fund" is hereby amended to include the following:

1.         Medical Assistance - to include provision of financial assistance for the purchase of medicines, hospitalization, medical treatment, among others

2.         Legal Assistance - to include legal assistance in connection with the victim's pursuance of the case, litigation of perpetrator, termination of parental authority

3.         Psychological and Psychiatric Interventions/Treatment - to include psychological and psychiatric tests, therapy sessions

4.         Other Financial Assistance - to include provision of burial assistance, transportation assistance in going back to their respective provinces "Balik-Probinsiya Program", and food assistance

This order shall take effect upon majority endorsement of DSWD Lingap Project Advisory Board.
