PROCUREMENT OF OUTGOING QUARANTINE CLEARANCE

If the last port of call has no quarantine officer, outgoing quarantine clearance should be obtained from the last open port as listed above. For instance, if a vessel calls at Manila and Iloilo and proceeds Sto San Carlos, Negros Oriental, the vessel should have an outgoing quarantine clearance from Iloilo and not from San Carlos.
Masters of vessel's navigating within Philippine waters are hereby required to report to the quarantine officer of the nearest open port the occurrence of any infectious disease on board in order that proper instructions could be issued for its effective control.
