[ POEA MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 24 S. 1984, August 29, 1984 ]
SUPPLEMENTAL GUIDELINES ON THE AUDITION AND CERTIFICATION OF ENTERTAINERS FOR OVERSEAS EMPLOYMENT
In order to further streamline the rules and procedures on the audition certification of entertainers for overseas employment the following guidelines are hereby issued for the information of all concerned:
1
Fees for Re-audition and Rescheduling
All entertainers who fail in the auditions may apply for re-audition after a reasonable period of time. Applicants for re-audition shall be required to pay the regular audition fees.
Entertainers who do not appear on their designated audition date are deemed to have failed by default in the audition. The audition fees paid by said entertainers shall be considered forfeited and they shall be required to pay the regular audition fees the moment they apply for re-scheduling. However, such rule may not apply to entertainers who request for re-scheduling at least two (2) days before the designated date of audition and whose request has been duly approved.

Application for Audition and
Issuance of Certificates
Application for audition can be undertaken either by the applicant-entertainer or by the duly accredited liaison officer of the agency where the entertainer has an application for overseas employment or by the entertainer's manager. However, issuance of certificates shall strictly be to applicant-entertainers themselves only.
3
Issuance of Replacement Certificates
Entertainers who lost their Artist's Accreditation Certificate may request for the issuance of a replacement certificate. Said request shall be supported by a sworn statement detailing the circumstances of loss.
Replacement certificates may be issued to entertainers after they have complied with the above requirements and upon of a re-certification fee of One Hundred (P100.00) Pesos.
