[ LTFRB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 98-003, January 20, 1998 ]
SHUTTLE SERVICE
In pursuance of the provisions of DOTC Department Order No. 97-1097, providing standard classification for all land-based public transport conveyances, on Shuttle Service, applications for franchise to operate this type of service, proposing the use of the following motor vehicles:
Applications shall invariably be accompanied by, among other requirements, valid contracts between establishments or residents associations and the common carriers.
The Operation of the SHUTTLE SERVICE shall be limited to the special transport of employees or association members only, with no picking-up of passengers between the designated terminal.
All issuances, or parts thereof, which are inconsistent herewith are hereby modified accordingly or superseded/revoked.
This Memorandum Circular takes effect fifteen (15) days after the filing of three (3) copies with the U.P. Law Center, in accordance with Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 11, dated October 9, 1992.

1. Sedan;with no fixed route, may now be filed before this Board after payment of the filing fees of P 430.00 for the first five (5) units and P 35.00 for each unit in excess of five. The units to be applied for may either be ordinary or airconditioned, and the fare shall be based on distance or zonal as may be approved by this Board.
2. Asian Utility Vehicles;
3. Van;
4. Pick-up;
5. Station Wagon;
6. Mini-Coach or Coach,
