Please be informed that the Commission on its meeting on January 29, 2000, after due deliberation, adopted the recommendation of the Handicapping Committee, chaired by Comm. Eduardo T. Galang, the following guidelines for the line-up of Special Races:

1.         The line-up of Special Races which appear in the copia (probable line-up of runners) before the drawing of lots (bolahan) shall be subject to adjustment of handicap weights and/or category at the discretion of the club handicapper. Only first placers of the current week ™s Special Races at the other racing club can be adjusted.

2.         Horses in the Special Races that went on vacation for a period of four (4) months or more shall be required to run once in the Winner ™s Division after passing the Barrier ™s Trial before they can be re-classified and included in the special Races.

This shall take effect immediately.
