Acting on the request of EASCO for lifting of Department Order No. 166, series of 1991 on the ground that its principal, Gonzalo Construction, has already remitted the amount of P443,653.90 to the DPWH thru National Irrigation Administration (NIA) and will remit the remaining balance of P141,500.96 from the remaining 50% of the retention money under Contract CIPD-D-7 which amounts are equivalent to the advance payment received by Gonzalo Construction from DPWH the risk of recoupment has been minimized, if not completely eliminated.  Wherefore said request is hereby granted.

Accordingly, D.O. # 166, series of 1991, is revoked effective immediately.
