The Commission, by virtue of CSC Resolution No. 00-1046 dated April 27, 2000, expands the scope of the Local Scholarship Program for Bachelor's Degree Completion (LSP-BDC) to include undergraduate government employees who completed only second year college studies or are in third year college to participate in the program starting SY 2001-2002.

All heads of departments/agencies are enjoined to inform and encourage their personnel to participate in LSP-BDC for their personal and career growth in government thus enhancing professionalism in the civil service.

This Memorandum Circular shall take effect immediately.
