RELEASE OF THE 2001 IEQ
All garments exporters are hereby informed of the release of the2001 Initial EQ (IEQ) Entitlements computed in accordance with the Rules: Firms who have not fully complied with the re-accreditation requirements shall be issued their entitlements subject to the following conditions:
1. Firms shall be given until 31 December 2000 within which to submit their notarized compliance undertaking and accept their Initial EQ/CEA awards;
2. Firm shall fully comply with the re-accreditation requirements on or before June 30, 2001; Otherwise its EQ/CEA awards shall be downgraded to CEA and REA, respectively;
3. Assessment fees shall be released only upon submission of the above undertaking on or
before 31 December 2000. Failure to submit the undertaking and pay the assessment fee
on or before said deadline will automatically forfeited the award.
Details are now posted at the GTEB Bulletin Board. The Industry Associations are given copies for information of their members.
