[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8151, September 04, 1995 ]
AN ACT DECLARING NOVEMBER TWENTY-SEVEN OF EVERY YEAR AS A SPECIAL NONWORKING PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF TARLAC, TO BE KNOWN AS NINOY AQUINO DAY
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. In commemoration of the birth anniversary of the late nationalist Benigno "Ninoy" S. Aquino, Jr., who was born and raised in the Province of Tarlac, November twenty-seven of every year is hereby declared a special nonworking public holiday in the Province of Tarlac, to be known as Ninoy Aquino
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
Lapsed into law on September 4, 1995 without the President's signature, pursuant to Sec. 27(1), Article VI of the Constitution.
