On the basis of the consensus among heads of Philippine missions in the Middle East during the recently concluded Regional Consultation Meeting (RCM) in Abu Dhabi, and the assurances from various foreign embassies in Manila of the stable condition in their respective countries, the deployment of household helpers to the Middle East for Diplomats and other high officials is hereby allowed subject to the following requirements:

1.         Verification by the POLO of all documentary requirements prior to accreditation and processing by POEA;

2.         Minimum salary of US$300.00 per month exclusive of food and accommodation per existing regulations.

This Department Order shall take effect on 01 December 1996.
