DECLARING CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND LOCATED IN BARANGAY BASPER, TACLOBAN CITY AS SITE OF THE CEMETERY OF TACLOBAN CITY UNDER THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF TACLOBAN



Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources, and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL ARROYO, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare certain parcels of land covered by Transfer Certificate of Title No. T-465 containing an area of 100,443 square meters situated in Barangay Basper, Tacloban City, registered in accordance with the provisions of the Land Registration Act, in the name of the Republic of the Philippines as cemetery site under the administration of the City Government of Tacloban City, which parcels are more particularly described as follows:

A parcel of land, identified as Lot 1. H-V-26647 located in Barangay Basper, Tacloban City. Along lines 1-3 by Lot 4029, Tacloban Cadastre; along lines 3-5 by Lot 1 of plan H-V-26647; along lines 8-10 by Public land; along lines 10-11 by Lot 4535, Tacloban Cadastre; and along lines 11-1 by Lot 4025, Tacloban Cadastre.

Such part or parts of the area herein declared open for disposition in relation to the provisions of Public Land Act, as amended, which are being used or earmark for public quasi-public purposes shall excluded from such disposition. Existing roads or proposed roads within the area shall conform with provisions of Executive Order No. 113, series of 1995. Likewise, strict compliance to Presidential Decree 856, which outlined the Sanitation Code of the Philippines must be observed.
