Administrative Order No. 76, series of 1989, that grants authority to the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) to issue import permits for feeds and feed ingredients is hereby REVOKED.

As such, BAI's role will mainly focus on the evaluation and determination of the quality of feeds and feed ingredients.  The authority to issue import permits and to register, license, and supervise the processing and manufacture of feeds will still remain with the National Food Authority (NFA) by virtue of Presidential Decree Nos. 4, 699, 1485 and 1770, and Letter of Instructions No. 56 dated February 19, 1973.

This Order shall take effect immediately.
