EXCLUSION OF SOME AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS FROM LIST OF PROHIBITED/REGULATED COMMODITIES
Pursuant to R.A. No. 8178 dated March 28, 1996, otherwise known as the "Agricultural Tariffication Act", and Monetary Board Resolution No. 446 dated May 4, 1996, please be advised that, effective 1 May 1996, the agricultural products listed in the attached Annex A hereof are deleted from the list of prohibited/regulated commodities enumerated under Appendices 1 and 2 of CB Circular No. 1389, s. 1993, as amended.
This Circular likewise amends Circular-Letter dated October 19, 1995 on the updated list of regulated import commodities.

List of Agricultural Products Liberalized Under R.A. 8178 Dated March 28, 1996 (Delisted From Prohibited/Regulated Import Commodity List)
I. Delisted from the Regulated Commodities under Appendix 1:
This Circular likewise amends Circular-Letter dated October 19, 1995 on the updated list of regulated import commodities.

I. Delisted from the Regulated Commodities under Appendix 1:
1. "Corn", under Item No. 2;II. Delisted from Prohibited Commodities under Appendix 2:
2. "Onions, garlic, potatoes and cabbage, for seedling purposes", under Item No. 10; and
3. "Agricultural products produced locally in sufficient quantity", under Item No. 22 and Appendix 1-F, namely:
a. "Corn (and its substitutes, including wheat used for feeds)";
b. "Poultry and poultry products";
c. "Hogs and pork products"; and
d. "Meat and meat products, except beef and beef products".
