ADDENDUM TO SECTION 113-HORSES
Please be informed that the PHILRACOM Board in its meeting held on January 19, 2001 resolved to amend by addition Section 113-HORSES, by adding paragraph no. 11, which will now read as follows:
SECTION 113. Horses - The following penalties shall be imposed upon racehorses:

11. Horses which are found to be suffering from lameness, after the race, shall be given the following suspensions:
The following implementing guidelines shall apply:
1. Horses suspended shall thereafter be required to obtain a certificate of fitness from a PHILRACOM Veterinarian prior to running.
2. The graduated system of suspension shall apply regardless of which a horse s limb is affected.
3. Suspensions will not be counted as part of vacation. In case the owner intends to put the horse on vacation after serving the suspension, he must officially inform the PHILRACOM.
This rule shall take effect fifteen (15) days after publication.

2nd Offense - One (1) month
3rd Offense - Two (2) months
4th Offense - Four (4) months
Subsequent Offenses - Four (4) months
