[ LTFRB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2001-004, February 06, 2001 ]
AMENDMENT ON MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2000-014 DATED MAY 31, 2000
The Board issued Memorandum Circular No. 2000-020 suspending the implementation of Memorandum Circular No. 2000-014, otherwise known as the markings requirement for PUVs in order to strengthen the enforcing guidelines of the circular.
After a review of the policy, there seems to be some confusion as to which agency in government is duty bound to collect the fine of P5,000.00 as provided for in Memorandum Circular No. 2000-014. Accordingly, in order to avoid any confusion whatsoever, the Board hereby deletes the P5,000.00 fine stated in the said Memorandum Circular, and hereby amends paragraph (4) thereof to read as follows:
This Memorandum Circular shall take effect fifteen (15) days after the filing of three (3) copies hereof with the U.P. Law Center, in accordance with Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 11 dated October 9, 1992.
