Whereas, the Department of Agriculture Mission in Indonesia, after a thorough inspection and evaluation of P.T. SANTOSA FEEDER CATTLE FARM found favorable conditions that merit allowing the importation of feeder cattle from Indonesia;

Whereas, certain conditions are set up to allow such importations of feeder cattle;

Whereas, only the specified Department of Agriculture-Indonesia accredited cattle feedlot stated below is allowed to export FEEDER CATTLE to the Philippines:

LAMPUNG, SOUTH SUMATRA, INDONESIA

Whereas, all importation of feeder cattle shall be accompanied by:

a)    Veterinary Quarantine Clearance to Import signed by the Secretary of Agriculture or his duly authorized representative and have complied with the rules and regulations of the Bureau of Animal Industry; and

b)    International Animal Health Certificate issued by the veterinary authorities of the Department of Agriculture Indonesia.

NOW THEREFORE I, WILLIAM D. DAR, Acting Secretary of Agriculture, do hereby issue the above-stated guidelines governing the importation of feeder cattle from Indonesia.

All orders, rules and regulations or parts thereof, which are in conflict with the provisions of this Order are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.

This Order shall take effect immediately after its publication in at least one (1) newspaper of general circulation.
