Pursuant to DA Administrative Order No. 15, series of 1999, Iloilo province is hereby declared as a FMD affected area.

The following guidelines are hereby issued:

1.    Transport of FMD susceptible animals (pigs, sheep, goat, carabao, cattle) is prohibited from Iloilo to the rest of the Visayas, Mindanao, Masbate and Palawan.

2.    Transport of meat and uncooked meat products is prohibited from Iloilo to the rest of the Visayas and Mindanao.

3.    Usual quarantine procedures shall be observed governing transport of FMD susceptible animals, meat and meat products from Capiz, Antique, Aklan, Guimaras and Negros Occidental to the rest of Visayas.

4.    Shipment of live, healthy and non-infected animals as certified by the Veterinary Quarantine Officer is allowed from Iloilo to Manila for slaughter purposes.
