SELLING OF DRUGS OR MEDICINES TO THE PUBLIC
This circular is issued to answer the recurring questions of whether or not hospital drugstores and pharmacies are allowed to sell drugs medicines to the consuming public who are not patients of the Hospital where the pharmacies are located.
There is no specific provision of law or BFAD regulation prohibiting the sale of drug and medicines by hospital pharmacies to the consuming public, hence, hospital pharmacies may sell to the public.
