INSPECTION AND PRODUCTION OF RECORDS AND DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO BE KEPT BY PERSON OR ENTITIES AUTHORIZED TO IMPORT, MANUFACTURE, DISTRIBUTE, PRESCRIBE, DISPENSE, DEAL IN, OR SELL DANGEROUS DRUGS
a. enter and inspect any place or premises occupied by a person authorized to deal in dangerous drugs;
b. require the production of any register, record, book, prescription, or other documents relating to dealings/transactions in dangerous drugs;
c. inspect any such register, record, book, prescription, or other documents found by him upon such entry and which relate to the prescribing, dispensing, handling, ordering, purchase, sale or manufacture of dangerous drugs and make copies of or take extracts from all such books, prescriptions, orders, papers, entries, invoices, and letters or any of them and for the purpose of facilitating the making of a copy or extract, remove all or any of such books, prescriptions, orders, papers, entries, invoices or letters temporarily from such premises or place, provided that a receipt therefor shall be issued to the owner thereof.
d. inspect any stocks of dangerous drugs in possession of such person.
2. Every person authorized by Chairman, Dangerous Drugs Board, under this regulation, shall be furnished with an order of his authorization duly authenticated by the Executive Director, and if, when claiming exercise a power by virtue of this regulation, is asked to show the said authorization, the power shall not be exercisable by him except upon presentation of the authorization.
3. A written inspection report shall submitted the Chairman, Dangerous Drugs Board, or the Executive Director, Dangerous Drugs Board, within three (3) working days after completion of inspection.
4. This Regulation shall take effect immediately.
