1.0 This Circular Letter is issued to clarify that Budget Circular No. 2001-2, dated November 12, 2001 and Budget Circular No. 2001-2A, dated December 5, 2001 on the grant of Extra Christmas Bonus are applicable only for 2001.

2.0 For 2002, the grant of additional bonus on top of the year-end benefit authorized under RA 6686, as amended by RA 8441, is covered by Budget Circular No. 2002-4, dated November 28, 2002. 

3.0 Grants of Extra Christmas Bonus under Budget Circular No. 2001-2 in 2002 shall not be allowed. 

4.0 Please be guided accordingly.
