WHEREAS, the services and programs of the Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc., are supportive and complementary to health and social welfare programs of the Government;

WHEREAS, to pursue its humanitarian programs and services, the Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc., needs the continuous assistance of the community to enable it to respond to the needs of some 500,000 indigent clients especially on its 85th year.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc., to conduct a national educational and fund campaign for a period of one (1) year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation.
