DELETION OF THE REQUIREMENT FOR A CERTIFICATE OF SHORT-SHIPMENT ISSUED BY THE BUREAU OF CUSTOMS



Pursuant to Monetary Board Resolution No. 403 dated April 24, 1992, effective immediately, the requirement for a Bureau of Customs Certificate of Short-Shipment is hereby deleted for the negotiation and payment, thru the authorized agent banks (AABs), of export shipments which are less than that indicated in the covering Export Declaration, provided, that the Bill of Lading/Air Waybill and the signed Commercial Invoice, which shall continue to be required, shall be the basis for the negotiation and payment thru the AABs, insofar as the actual quantity shipped is concerned; which deletion was approved by the National Economic and Development Authority in its Resolution No. 30 (s. 1991).

All other Central Bank rules inconsistent herewith are deemed amended accordingly.
