RECALL OF MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 770-2006[*] DATED 27 SEPTEMBER 2006 RE: USE OF COMPUTERIZED OFFICIAL RECEIPT (OR 2B) FORM IN LIEU OF MISCELLANEOUS RECEIPT (MR 67) FOR NON-AUTOMATED DISTRICT/EXTENSION OFFICES



In order to prevent misuse of computerized Official Receipts (OR 2B) by non-automated District /Extension Offices, Memorandum Circular No. 770-2006 dated 27 September 2006 is hereby recalled.

Hence, it is understood that only automated District/Extension Offices shall use the computerized Official receipts (OR). On the other hand, non-automated district/extension Offices should use the Motor Vehicle Miscellaneous Registration Receipt (MVMRR 2A) for renewal registration transactions. Miscellaneous Receipt (MR 67) should be used for Licensing and Law Enforcement transactions only.

In requesting for the said accountable forms, the duly accomplished Requisition and Issue Slip (RIS) should be sent directly to the Administrative Division, Central Office.

This Memorandum Circular takes effect immediately.
