[ PMO-ZAMBOANGA MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 03, S. 2000, October 24, 2000 ]
PRESCRIBED TUG ASSISTANCE RATES AT THE PORT OF ZAMBOANGA FOR DOMESTIC VESSELS
Taking into consideration the prevailing tug assistance rates in the surrounding major ports of General Santos City, Cagayan de Oro City and Davao City and considering further that no compromised rates have been mutually agreed by both the tug assistance operator and the domestic shipping lines, the Philippine Ports Authority hereby prescribes the following tug assistance rates"
The above prescribed tug rates for the private wharf shall be subject to an additional thirty (30%) percent since the tug has to travel to and from the private wharf from its base at the Port of Zamboanga and shall incur additional expenses.
Rates for special service like dead ship/bow-out docking at the government/private wharf and for towing within the Zamboanga Pilotage District shall be agreed upon between the tug service operator and the shipping company
This Memorandum shall take effect on 01 November 2000.
