[ SRA SUGAR ORDER NO. 16, July 24, 1990 ]
RELEASE OF 1989-1990 "C SUGAR AS DOMESTIC SUGAR
WHEREAS, to insure availability of sugar controlled prices in all parts of the country, particularly those areas affected by the earthquake, there is a need to release all available reserve stocks to the domestic market;
NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the powers vested in the Sugar Regulatory Administration, it is hereby ordered that:
SECTION 1. All "C" reserve sugar produced from February 26, 1990 up to July 22, 1990 is hereby released as domestic sugar.
SECTION 2. All sugar produced from July 23, 1990 up to August 31, 1990 shall be quedanned as follows:
(a) "A" or export sugar | - |

SECTION 3. 1989-1990 "C" sugar quedans converted as "B" quedans under this Order shall be stamped:
"Withdrawn per SRA Sugar Order No. 16 dated July 24, 1990".
SECTION 4. "C" sugar covered by this Order which is not withdrawn within forty-five (45) days from August 1, 1990 will be charged storage fees.
SECTION 5. The conversion under Section 1 hereof takes effect August 1, 1990.
SECTION 6. Any provisions of sugar orders, circular letters, rules and regulations inconsistent with or contrary to this Order are hereby revoked, amended or modified accordingly.
