[ SRA CIRCULAR LETTER NO. 11, December 14, 2000 ]
AMENDMENT AND IMPLEMENTING GUIDELINES TO CIRCULAR LETTER NO. 24, S.1999-2000, DATED MAY 9, 2000
WHEREAS, there is a need to amend certain provisions of Circular Letter No. 24, series of 1999-2000, dated May 9, 2000.
NOW, THEREFORE, under and by virtue of the authority vested in the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA) it is hereby ordered that:
SECTION 1. The Raw Sugar Release Order (Raw SRO) and Refined Sugar Release Order (Refined SRO) are hereby amended as follows:
The corresponding Ledger of Withdrawals forms for individual Raw SRO and Refined SRO shall be printed/generated by the mills/refineries at their own expense following the prescribed forms, SRO Form No. 1-A and SRO Form No. 2-A, hereto attached
SECTION 3. Guidelines in the implementation of the SROs are contained in Memorandum Circular No. 1, Series of 1997-1998, dated 17 October 1997 and Circular Letter No. 2, Series of 1996-1997, dated 23 September 1996 or SRA Sugar Order No. 9, Series of 1993-1994.
The refined SRO shall be used for either refined sugar or other kind of sugar that has added value and/or with lesser yield ratio than the original quedanned/melted centrifugal raw/sugar.
Immediately upon issuance of a particular SRO, trader/withdrawee and Sugar Production and Regulation Officer (SPRO) assigned in the mill/refinery shall be furnished copies The trader shall attach his/her copy to the Affidavit of Notification with all the other necessary required documents to be submitted, when applying for a Shipping Permit from SRA Office
When the SRO is fully served, the mill shall furnish two (2) copies with the correspond ing two (2) copies of the Ledger of Wthdrawals for SRED and PCRO and another copy of the Ledger of Withdrawals for SPRO for his file, the same shall be submitted by the SPRO to SRED-Bacolod/Guezon City and PCRO-Quezon City, together with all the supporting documents and the SMS Weekly Reports, every Wednesday of the week.
SECTION 4. Provisions of Sugar Orders, Circular Letters, Administrative Orders, Memo randum Circulars contrary to or inconsistent with this Circular Letter are hereby amended, modified or revoked accordingly.
SECTION 5. This Circular Letter shall take effect immediately following the completion of printing of the SRO Forms.
