1.         Section 6.3 of CMO 30-98 dated 5 August 1998 is hereby amended to read:

"6.3   Designation and reassignment of all personnel in the Enforcement and Security Service (ESS) and the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service (CIIS) below the Service Chief level shall be approved by the Deputy Commissioner for Intelligence and Enforcement Group after consultation with the Service Chief, concerned, copy furnished the Commissioner of Customs."

2.         All Office Orders issued by the ESS or CIIS shall be forwarded to the Deputy Commissioner for Intelligence and Enforcement group for concurrence/approval.

3.         All orders inconsistent herewith are deemed revoked and/or modified accordingly.

4.         This Order shall take effect immediately.
