In view of the continued deployment of Filipinos as œau pair  workers, particularly to European countries, the POEA reiterates that the Philippine government ban on the deployment of œau pairs  it imposed in 1997 remains in force.

Filipinos who wish to gain employment in Europe under the œau pair program  are advised not to use this scheme.
