[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8231, November 10, 1996 ]
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF THE LANGIDEN, PROVINCE OF ABRA, TO BE KNOWN AS THE LANGIDEN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. There shall be established under the supervision of the Department Education, Culture and Sports, a national high school in the Municipality of Langiden, Province of Abra, to be known as the Langiden National High School.
SEC. 2. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports shall implement this Act so as to make the national high school in operation during the first school year after the effectivity of this Act.
SEC. 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
Approved, Lapsed into law on November 10, 1996, without the signature of the President, in accordance with Article VI, Section 27(1) of the Constitution.
