Due to the concerns about the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) plaguing Hongkong, China and other ASEAN countries, please be extra vigilant in preventing the entry of used clothing into the country especially those coming from the countries reported to have been infected with the said disease.

Accordingly, all consolidation shipments should be subjected to 100% examination to ensure no shipment of used clothing from the SARS-infected areas released from customs custody.
