[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9113, April 14, 2001 ]

AN ACT SEPARATING THE CAVITE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL ANNEX LOCATED AT SANGLEY POINT, CAVITE CITY, FROM THE CAVITE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND CONVERTING IT INTO A FULL-FLEDGED NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE SANGLEY POINT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Cavite National High School Annex located in Sangley Point, Cavite City, is hereby separated from the Cavite National High School and converted into a full-fledged national high school to be known as the Sangley Point National High School.

SEC. 2. The Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports, shall promulgate and issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to implement the provisions of this Act.

SEC. 3. The amount necessary for the initial implementation of this Act shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Cavite National High School - Sangley Point Annex. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the continuous operation and maintenance of the Sangley Point National High School shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on August 28, 2000 and February 5, 2001, respectively.
