1. To further improve career opportunities in the DECS, paragraph A of Item III of Inclosure 1B to DECS Order No. 54, s. 1993 is hereby amended to read as follows:

œThis consists of the performance of duties/functions relevant to the next bigger position over a period expressed in years with every year given a point but not to exceed five points equivalent to 5 years. 

2. This Order takes effect immediately.
