COMPUTATION OF WHARFAGE ON MINERAL PRODUCTS FOR EXPORT
Pursuant to Board Resolution No. 1757, the computation of wharfage on mineral products for export shall be based on dry metric tonnage.
For this reason, percentage moisture (H2O) of mineral products for export shall be the lowest percentage as certified by the Bureau of Mines and verified by the Port Manager concerned. Said percentage moisture shall be deducted from the total wet metric tonnage of the mineral product for purposes of wharfage computation, provided, such deduction shall not be more than twenty (20%) percent.
All PPA orders, circulars and issuances which are inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed or amended accordingly. Likewise, all currently contested and protested accounts relative to this shall be governed and processed in accordance with the provision of this Order.
This Order shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in any newspaper of general circulation.
