DEALER S REPORTS AND REGIONAL COC S
In relation to our Memorandum dated 07 October 1996 on "CP for CKD & CBU Motor Vehicles" and the letter of CAMPI of even date concerning the registration of brand new locally assembled vehicles, the following guidelines shall be observed:
1. The received copy of the manufacturers, assemblers and/importers reports to the Registration Section shall be presented to the Regional Office together with the transfer invoice(s) to the dealers supported by the stencils and other documents for purposes of local dealers outside Metro Manila.
2. The local dealers shall execute an affidavit of undertaking that such stocks are truly transferred to them by the manufacturers/assembler/importer who submitted the report to the Registration Section stating among others that the dealer "shall assume all responsibilities for any complaint or third party claim".
3. Upon submission of these requirements the Regional office concerned shall issue the Certificate of Confirmation valid only in their geographic area of responsibility for registration purposes. Only the COC issued by Central Office Registration Section is valid in all district offices nationwide.
