The revised fire tariff approved by this Commission on 17 September 1997 shall apply to all policies with inception dates of 01, January 1998 onwards.

All concerned are hereby required to comply strictly with the rates, rules and regulations prescribed in the revised fire tariff manual.

Violation thereof shall be dealt with by the imposition of the following penalties.

First Offense:

Fine Of Ps500.00 a day for each policy with stern warning.

Second Offense:

Suspension to write fire insurance for a period of fifteen (15) days.

Third Offense:

Revocation of license to write fire insurance.
