SAUDI EMBASSY REMINDS AGENCIES TO COMPLY WITH ITS REGULATIONS

The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia has observed that some recruitment agencies continued to ignore the rules and procedures despite the earlier dissemination of the rules and regulations on transacting business at the Embassy.

The Saudi Embassy cited non-compliances, such as:

  • Submission of passports with incomplete requirements. Deliberate non-compliance of the requirements is reportedly taxing on the part of the consular staff who consumes more time and effort in checking the required documents, oftentimes resulting in the rejection of the visa applications submitted.
  • Non-compliance with the certificates required for first-time working visa applicants.
  • Non-submission of release papers and/or no-objection certificate from former employers for those who have previously worked in KSA.
  • Non-compliance on the complete information needed on the visa application forms and the photograph size when filling up the agency ™s e-code.

The Embassy has likewise reminded the agencies to observe the following:

  • Only one liaison officer is allowed to represent an agency.
  • The liaison officer should wear proper identification at all times.
  • The liaison officer must always observe proper decorum.
  • Liaison officers shall not be allowed to bring their bags and mobile phones inside the Embassy premises.
According to the Embassy, the accreditation of agencies that failed to comply with the above rules shall be cancelled.

For the information and guidance of all concerned.
