The PPA Board of Directors, in its meeting held on May 19, 1995, approved the request of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) for exemption from any charges normally collectible by the Authority on its two (2) vessels.

In view of the abovementioned approval, all PPA personnel concerned are hereby instructed to exempt from any charges normally collectible by the Authority on the two (2) vessels of DENR which are engaged in marine research/exploration and enhancement of environment laws, as follows:

1. RPS Explorer

2. MV Bantay Kalikasan

It is understood that priority to berthing spaces shall be assigned to commercial vessels and that DENR vessels may be required to vacate needed berthing spaces.

For guidance, information and compliance.

This Circular shall take effect immediately.
