[ BSP CIRCULAR NO. 1231, February 27, 1990 ]
IMPORTATION OF THE COMMODITIES NO LONGER REQUIRING PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE BUREAU OF IMPORT SERVICES
In accordance with the recommendation of the Department of Trade and Industry and as approved by the Monetary Board under Resolution No. 122 dated February 9, 1990, the importation of the commodities listed in the attached Annex* no longer requires the prior approval of the Bureau of Import Services, DTI, effective immediately.
It is understood that existing clearances/permits required from the agencies other than those indicated shall continue to be obtained in accordance with existing laws, PDs, LOIs, and similar issuances.
