[ DECS ORDER NO. 44 S. 1992, April 30, 1992 ]
CORRIGENDUM TO DECS ORDER NO. 16, S. 1992 (GUIDELINES ON TUITION AND OTHER SCHOOL FEES IN PRIVATE SCHOOLS, COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES FOR SCHOOL YEAR 1992-1993)
As approved by the State Assistance Council (SAC) during its meeting on March 26 and 31, 1992, the following sections/items as stipulated in DECS Order No. 16, s. 92 are hereby corrected as follows:
a. SECTION 1. General and Specific Provisions - Item A of this section should read: However, no consultation is required when the amount of increase will raise the tuition fee level to not more than eighty pesos (P80.00) per unit for the tertiary schools and up to any amount less than one thousand seven hundred pesos (P1,700.00) per year for the pre-elementary, elementary, secondary, and tech-voc schools.
b. SECTION 3. Timetable - April 30, 1992 is changed to June 1, 1992 as the last day of submission to DECSRO of all applications for tuition and other fees increases for all levels. Applications should be accompanied with all necessary documents.
c. SECTION 6. Government Tuition Fee Supplements - Item A of Section 6 should read: For students enrolled in high schools which charged less than one thousand seven hundred pesos (P1,700.00 including the P290.00 subsidy) per year in tuition and other fees during school year 1991-1992, the government shall provide them with a voucher equal to two hundred ninety pesos (P290.00) each.
Immediate dissemination of this order is desired.
