Based on the rescission by the Regional Director, DPWH Region VI, Fort San Pedro Reservation, Iloilo City, of the contract of Chingbee Lumber Construction with this Department for the construction of Calat-An Bridge and Approaches due to intolerable negative slippage incurred despite verbal and official notices to accelerate its activities on the said project, the said construction firm and its key officials are hereby suspended/blacklisted from participating in any bidding or entering into any contract with the Department and its line agencies for a period of one (1) year from date of rescission.

In addition, all concerned are ordered not to release any sum of money to Chingbee Lumber Construction pending settlement of its financial obligations in connection with its rescinded contract without prior clearance from this Office.
